Complete and utter love.

The story of this couple started with an instant in time. A glancing moment. The pair saw each other for the first time across a crowded art showroom in Melbourne. “It was love at first sight,” says Loretta. “We spoke for the first time then and have been inseparable ever since.”

Loretta and Cameron’s love is like an enduring warmth of a never-ending fire – it lights up the room, it keeps everyone feeling safe, and it’s immediately obvious from the moment you meet them. It was an absolute pleasure and delight to photograph their special day at this Gold Coast venue.

The couple are both highly regarded artists and are both, according to Cameron, “obsessed with art and painting”. They are both lucky enough to be passionate about their work and earn a living from their passion. Capturing people’s raw emotions is what the couple and Feather and Finch Photography seek to do well!

The Chateau Nesbit venue, in the heart of South Port on the Gold Coast, had that intimate, romantic getaway feel. With just a couple of dozen guests, this made for a uniquely personal wedding. The character of this abode added an abundance of laid-back feelings at the same time as being incredibly chic and mellow.

Loretta looked stunning in her relaxed, carefree, backless dress, and Cameron looked a dashing match. The use of fairy lights made for a warm, glowing atmosphere. Even the vintage wooden chairs and plenty of greenery in pots and foliage around the entranceways made for a place of beauty.
